Today, I’m excited to share a special wisdom snippet with you from our Inner Circle portal.
Each month, I sit down with a celebrated wellness practitioner to discuss their respective field and expertise. The purpose of these conversations is to bring you the knowledge you need, when you need it – and to allow everyone in the community to ask questions in real time.
Recently, I met with Dr. Afrouz Demeri, who is considered to be one of the top hormone health experts in the world, and for good reason. After healing herself of a debilitating hormone-related illness in her twenties, she dedicated her entire career to understanding how this complex system within us works.
She is the former Director of Functional Medicine at the University of California Irvine’s Department of Medicine, is a sought after national speaker on hormone and reproductive health, and is regularly featured in major publications and documentaries.
In our conversation, we explore what it truly takes to heal – way beyond simply medicine. We discuss the importance of reclaiming the language you use with yourself and why it might be time to shamelessly question what your doctors have told you about your health challenges.
We unpack what it truly means to be a yin human and how so many women have forgotten what this truly means, often leading to hormonal imbalances and other health problems.
Plus, we get into the art of living in the now, how to nurture compassion for yourself, and the very real benefit of rewiring harmful beliefs that no longer serve you.
If we all spoke to ourselves the way we spoke to our dearest friends, the world around us would be a much more beautiful place – not only for ourselves but for others as well.
If you enjoy this clip with Dr. Demeri, you can watch the full conversation with a FREE trial membership to our Inner Circle. You’ll also get access to more talks like this and a ton of other monthly goodies.
Hope to see you there!
